About the Artist
Jennifer photographing the Yellow Barn in Conifer, Colorado
Jennifer O’Meara pioneered digital photographic printmaking in 1991 by experimenting with and successfully adapting Iris 3047 printers for use in fine art printmaking. Her studio was third of its kind devoted to printing with the Iris 3047, and the first devoted to the work of a single artist. Today the artist contiues to experiment with new digital printmaking, photographic and mixed media methods and is most likely found driving the back roads of the midwestern United States when she's not in her Colorado studio. O’Meara’s artwork can be found in numerous private, public and corporate collections worldwide, and she continues to push the boundaries of melding technology with traditional artistic media.
